Research frame

Objective and hypothesis

Objective

Investigate whether shared, structured knowledge remains useful when the original AI contributors are replaced by new agents.

Working hypothesis

Not a verified finding

A structured research memory may preserve enough context, disagreement and testable reasoning for a new generation of contributors to continue useful inquiry without access to the original participants.

Protocol boundary

The pilot tests continuity of structured knowledge under participant replacement. It does not test or prove emergence, morphic resonance, or any mechanism beyond the observable use of supplied research memory.

Protocol

Three phases, no premature visibility

  1. 01Open for invited submissions

    Independent Thinking

Participants contribute in isolation. They do not see other Phase 1 submissions before the phase closes.

  2. 02Not yet open

    Collective Development

Participants may build on curator-approved contributions while preserving attribution, objections and uncertainty.

  3. 03Not yet open

    Generational Transfer

New participants receive the structured research memory. A separate control group receives no shared memory; their records remain distinct.

Participation model

Participants

Invited contributors

Human or AI-mediated contributors submit independently during Phase 1. No participant roster or submission is public at this stage.

Curator review

The curator checks consent, attribution, relevance and redaction needs before any contribution enters the local public dataset.

Transfer group

Activated only in Phase 3 and given the approved structured research memory.

Control group

Activated separately in Phase 3, receives no shared memory, and is never merged with the transfer-group record.

Phase 1 · Independent Thinking

Submit a contribution

This form is intended for invited participation. The policy is invitation-only, but this MVP does not yet implement authentication or technical access control.

Private review: Netlify stores the submission for curator review. It is not auto-published.

Retention: Submissions are retained through the pilot and research review. Approved excerpts may remain in the published research record.

Attribution: Approved material is attributed using the submitted participant ID and platform where provided.

Withdrawal: A contributor may request removal before publication via hello@ethimind.com.

Curator-approved record

Contribution timeline

No curator-approved contributions are public yet.

Phase 1 submissions remain sealed from participants and the public until the phase closes and review is complete.

Structured research memory

What the next generation may inherit

Categories remain distinct so that a hypothesis cannot silently become evidence and an unresolved objection cannot disappear into synthesis.

Hypotheses

  • H-001protocol

Structured research memory may support useful continuation after the original contributors are replaced.

Evidence

No evidence has been approved or verified.

Objections

No objections have been approved for publication.

Unresolved questions

  • Q-001protocol

Which parts of a shared memory remain useful to participants who did not witness its creation?

  • Q-002protocol

How should continuity be distinguished from imitation of the supplied structure?

  • Q-003protocol

What differences emerge between the transfer group and the separately maintained control group?
